Giving: Is this the new Investment?

The concept of giving is not new. In the good Book, the Apostle Paul said it is more blessed to give than to receive [Acts 20:35]. When did you feel most blessed? When you got something or when you gave something away?
In order to give however you have to have. Make sense? You cannot give something that you don’t have in the first place.
The gift of giving is something most rich persons claim to have. You can only give according to the measure that you have. If you have little you give little. You have plenty than you give accordingly.
Those that have the gift of giving often say, it is because they give they have. One business man I befriended because my sister was going out with him at the time made a powerful statement. “I have and will always have because I give and will always give.”
The Lord loves a cheerful giver. He rewards those that give freely. The Lord does not ask that you cause your own poverty by giving all to the poor. However, if you give what you can with joy, you will be given many times that in return. This is one those intangible concepts that I have been able to prove for myself.
This is the best type of investment. You invest $10.00 and God gives you $1000.00 back. If you ask me it is a pretty good rate of return.
Giving is contagious, like a smile. Have something ever been given to you without a catch. What did you feel like doing soon after. You wanted to reciprocate the action. It may not be with the person who did the giving. You wanted to do something nice for someone else.
Have you heard of random acts of violence? Think about random acts of kindness. You do something nice of anyone at the spur of the moment just because you feel like it. I have and still continue to participate in this activity. It is not something you do during Christmas time only; or when you have just come from church. This is something I’ve done during one of my worse moods deliberately. Reader, believe me it works. If you want to get yourself out of a bad mood, go out and do something good for someone you don’t know. For example, I’ve walked into stores or restaurants where I’ve someone fumbling through pockets and purses looking for money they thought were there. I reached into my pocket and paid for the item. Or I’ve gone to work and bought coffee for my fellow workers simply because I knew they’d like it.
There are other random acts of kindness I would like to participate in but do not have the funds as of yet. The rapper BMX once bought a church for his mother’s congregation just because. Little Kim gives mucho money away each Christmas to kids that are sick in hospitals. These facts are little known to the public. Where I would love to do the above things these performers have done; I do not yet have the funds to do them. This is where Profit Lance comes in.
